The correct action is DeleteQueue. This API deletes the queue identified by its QueueUrl and any messages in the queue are no longer available after the deletion completes.

DeleteQueue removes the queue resource itself so the queue cannot be used after the delete finishes. SQS may take up to about 60 seconds to finalize the deletion and some requests can still appear to succeed while the deletion completes.

PurgeQueue only empties all messages from an existing queue and leaves the queue resource intact. That action does not satisfy the requirement to remove the queue itself.

RemovePermission changes access permissions by revoking a labeled permission and it does not delete the queue or its messages.

DeleteMessageBatch deletes specific messages supplied by receipt handle in bulk and it is useful for consumers but it cannot remove the queue resource.
