AWS Lambda and Amazon EventBridge Scheduler are the correct choices for a fully serverless solution to run a weekly log archive job on Tuesdays at 1 30 AM.

Amazon EventBridge Scheduler provides a managed way to trigger actions at a specific weekday and time and it can invoke the compute you need. AWS Lambda runs your archive code without provisioning servers and Lambda supports a maximum execution time that comfortably covers a typical 7 minute job.

AWS Step Functions is designed to coordinate multi step workflows and it can be started by EventBridge but it is unnecessary for a single short task and it does not natively provide the schedule by itself.

Amazon EC2 requires you to provision and maintain servers and to run any scheduling logic on those instances so it does not meet the requirement to be fully serverless.

AWS Batch is intended for running large scale batch workloads on managed compute environments and containers and it adds unnecessary complexity for a simple scheduled function.
